All Waterslip Pendants are handcrafted individually 
using a variety of different materials.

The cabochons range from Shell, semi precious stones, old porcelain,
to glass or even stones from our local beaches.

The original designs are born as each cabochon has a unique personality.
Each piece evolves as it is being created using various combinations of wire, findings, beads or sometimes even old Silver Plate Filigree . 

These materials are overlaid on each cabochon and secured
using the best lead free silver solder available.

The wire used also varies in grade as each variety of silver can be manipulated to create a different forms.  The Silver grade ranges from what is known as "German" silver up to "Sterling" depending upon what look is desired. 

Each Pendant is triple polished to ensure a long lasting shine.
Great care in construction results in a finished piece that will last a lifetime and become an heirloom to be passed on to the next "admirer" !

To keep the beautiful shine is as easy as polishing with a non abrasive metal polish such as 3M's Tarni-shield, a soft silver polish cloth or as simply as  scrubbing with a toothbrush and a little dish soap such as "Dawn".
